CONCERT CELEBRATING THE 1821 BICENTENNIAL

The virtual musical events continue! This event I am really excited to be a part of.
Last year, I was contacted to perform two English selections at the event, Celebrating the 1821 Bicentennial, which was to celebrate the Bicentennial of the Greek Revolution
in Western Pennsylvania. The event consisting of music, poetry readings, and exhibits was to take place last year in March of 2020 but had to be postponed due to the lockdown.

It was rescheduled for this year as a virtual event.
Now, throughout March of 2021, The PA Hellenic Foundation (consisting of members of the American Hellenic Foundation of Western PA, the Greek, French, English, Russian Nationality Room Committees, and the European Art Center of Greece) brought this event to life online with virtual exhibits and performances being released each week.
My performance of the two selections meant to represent England is now up and free for you to enjoy. Also, please visit the rest of the website and see all the other exhibits (which includes a performance by members of the Byzantine Choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh), along with getting more information on the Greek Revolution and the event itself!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your wonderful contribution to the Greek Independence celebration via the Nationality Rooms Program. You made a magnificent contribution; your singing voice is the loveliest I’ve ever heard in person and your renditions of the two British hymns were magnificent. They were among the highlights of the program for me. – Review on my performance by

It’s an honor to be a part of this and I thank all those involved with organizing this event for the opportunity.
